Travel light

Hi

I know that the phrase "travel light" means to travel without much luggage or maybe without any luggage at all.

How about the phrase "travelling lightly"? Do you think that it means the same as "travel light" or maybe something a litle bit different? I take it to mean to travel cheerfully, without any worries or something like that.

Thanks

I hear travelling light and it means that the person travels light. I never hear travelling lightly where did you hear/see this?

Hi

It's the title one of the chapters in a book.

But do you think that "travelling lightly" means something else than "travelling light"?

As I said before it associates me with travelling without any worries etc.

Probably. As it is a heading in a book it doesn't need to follow general use and is designed to create you thinking.
