Travel in the car?

I don't know how to express this. Is it correct to say this in English? Pls advice. Thanks!

"I don't really like driving, but I enjoy traveling in the car."

travelling by car. To me, in the car, refers to one specific, known car, possibly your family car, so it could be correct to say that if that's what you want. Travelling in a car is another option.
