Can I say this way?

They can go to a travel with their family.

I wouldn't say that. I'd say "... go on a trip/a cruise/a holiday with their family". "To go on a travel" is not idiomatic. You can "go travelling", though.

You can participate in a travel, but you cannot go to a travel. You can, however, go to an airport or go to a train station.
