Hi. What does 'trash' mean in: Apart from editing legibility, another advantage to having most of the page in straight HTML is that it makes editing with commercial IDEs possible, whereas products like Dreamweaver trash Perl's print statements.

Sorry, it doesn't help because I don't know that much about programming. I would guess that Dreamweaver misreads or mis-processes Perl's 'print' commands.
