Hi!! I would like to know if this sounds right to you... I have been having problems with the underlined phrase. Thanks!!
"We are witnessing a future threatened by new fundamentalisms—mainly, national and religious associated to an apocalyptic political discourse of exclusion—and by the concentration of a corporate power worldwide, where the local governments and the civil society are in second place, and the transnational interests heading globalization sacrifice the humanistic studies for the hegemony of advertising and markets that aspire to the maximum production and maximum consumption".
