Yes. I realize that. Still, it's difficult to come up with a good English translation because it's hard to see how the pedagogy of language can be described as 'ludica', i.e., 'playful', or 'having to do with games', not to mention how difficult it is to see what connection this phrase is trying to draw between teaching language and teaching history.

"ludic" is so rarely used that hardly anyone will know what it means.

Do you have any further context? It seems like it's a title or a chapter header. What's the text about? Assuming you are a native speaker of Italian, does it even have a coherent meaning in Italian?

I looked up a few items from that sentence to see how they're used in Italian, but couldn't get a good fix on 'glottodidattica'. In some contexts it seemed to be "language arts" in English; in others, "language pedagogy"; in others, "theory and practice of teaching foreign languages". I'm not sure it's used simply as "methodology"; I'd be surprised to hear that. "ludica" seemed to relate a great deal to childrens' playtime activities in primary school settings. The only thing that seems fairly certain is the ending "for teaching history".

Depending on the contents of the rest of the text, "ludica" may have to be translated as something like "through playtime activities" or "through games" at the end of the title.
