Translation and interpreting
Could you please help me! I am preparing my CV. But still don't see big difference between translation and interpreting. So if I worked as an interpreter should I write "oral and written translation" - duties. Or should I write translation and interpretation (or interpreting)?

interpretation is if you transmit somebody's speech to others. It doesn't matter you reproduce his speech word by word, you just transmit his message.
Translation is if you want to give back the author's writing word by word not just the summery.

I do, however, feel that in order to translate, one must also have some interpretational skills, or vise versa.
