TRANSLATION!

Hi!
I would be grateful if someone could help me to translate:

Si vendíamos productos, podríamos usar el dinero para financiar el proyecto

Top answer

Sorry, I can't speak Spanish; however, being Italian, I can rougly understand the sentence. If it is in the future tense, the translation would be: If we sell the products, we'll be able to finance the/our project. If it is in the (second) conditional, the translation would be: If we sold the products, we'd be able to finance the/our project.

I assume this means about the same as this:

Si vendiéramos ...

If we sold products, we would be able to use the money to finance the project.

or

If we were to sell products, we ...
