Here is what I sometimes do when bilingual dictionaries don't help me (that usually happens with names of animals and plants).

1. Go to Wikipedia's entry in the original language (in this case, in Dutch): http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapstok

2. Look at the "Language box" in the bottom-
