Translating a subtitle

hi

I've been translating the subtitle of the movie "Sympathy for Delicious"

but I got a few problems with some sentences, could anybody help me:

1- what is SRO? I want to trnslate this sentence : "when will you take me to the SRO?"

how cdo you define that? I found a definition in my dictionary but it wasn't clear, so I can't translate the sentece

2- what does "Gutter" mean as an adjective? I want to translate the sentence : "that was gutter"

3- I want to translate this sentence :" that's the stain... we need you, man", what does stain mean in this sentence? It might be a musical expression

tnx in advance

I'll take my best guess given the limited context you provide. When asking about things like this more context is always better. "when will you take me to the SRO" Probably means a "Single Room Occupancy" residential building.

  • "when will you take me to the SRO" Probably means a "Single Room Occupancy" residential building.
  • Still, within the context of the movie it might mean something entirely different.
  • "that was gutter" Presumably this refers to something mean or disrespectful that one character did or said to another.
