Transitive verb

In the sentence below, can I just use 'porting? But 'port' seems to be a transitive verb, and if that is the case, it may be incorrect.

May I know if we can still use the same url www.xxx.xx for the website after porting the website / porting to the new server?

Hi, Yes, both of those are fine. Using 'port' like this is computer jargon. Instead of May I know if we can still use , say eg I'd like to know if if we can still use eg Can you tell me if we can still use Clive

Hi Clive,

Thanks for your reply. Besides 'port', I think a simpler word would be 'move'. Do you have other suggestions'?
