transition verb

How will you write this in a correct fashion?

I don't like the way the scenes jump from one scene to the other. The new scene comes in from the side. The transition from one scene to the other isn't very smooth on this show.

I don't like the way one scene transition to the next.

I thought this was an amazing movie, with incredibly unique pacing. The way that the scenes jump from one to the other perfectly captures the essence of a comic book, which is the source material for this movie.
