tydexwang what the different for a flight to make a transit, trnasfer or stop over? Not 100% sure how these terms are used in this context, but my assumption is: transit = a flight from point A to point B (departure to destination) may be nonstop, or may include stops along the way to discharge and board passengers transfer = a trip which is planned as requiring two separate flights (different planes; different flight numbers) stopover = (1) The flight is scheduled with a lengthy layover at some point (not just to discharge and take on passengers). The passengers probably all disembark and reboard.
