TinaMr No MATTER HOW LATE IT WILL BE when you get home, please text me. Should I use present or future tense? Why?

  • TinaMr No MATTER HOW LATE IT WILL BE when you get home, please text me.
  • Should I use present or future tense?
  • Why?
  • Simple present: No matter how late it is… I don’t know exactly why, but I can tell you that it’s difficult for me to imagine a context where no matter + will clause would sound natural.
