Transfer/remit/wire

Could you tell me which one is right among the following underlined words?


Today he [(A) transferred / (B) remitted / (C) wired ] $10,000 to his son's account.

I would always use 'transferred'. Although 'wired' is not used that often in British English, I think it's used in the same way in the rest of the world. But, as I say, 'transferred' works best for me.
