Hello Everybody,
Another doubt...
Today I came across this phrase from the newspaper : "US has decided to go with the TRANSFER of F-16 aircrafts to Pakistan....". It too had lines with the phrase: "...sale of F-16 aircrafts...."
My question is in the usage of "transfer". Up to my knowledge, "tranfer" means just moving sth from one place to another. So, in this context the correcet word should have been " sale".
Can anyone tell me the reason for the usage of "transfer" word in this context.

They just want to emphasize that Pakistan was going to receive this aircrafts and the US was going to provide that. 'sale', IMO, would put more emphasis on the economical relationship between them...

They just want to emphasize that Pakistan was going to receive this aircrafts and the US was going to provide that.
'sale', IMO, would put more emphasis on the economical relationship between them...
