Trail room

Hi.

I saw in several shops, it is written trail room on the entrance door of fitting room. Is trail room synonymous with fitting room? I couldn't find such a thing in dictionaries.

Are you certain that it wasn't "trial room". Trial - as in "to try on". In any event, it's an odd expression and I have never seen it in a shop.

Are you certain that it wasn't "trial room". Trial - as in "to try on".

Thank you John Paris for your comment. Now that you say I think you are right, it must have been trial room because at least it can convey that meaning.

I was in Dubai last week, and in all shops this word was written.
