Town v.s. the town
Hi,
Which sentence is preferrable in your opinion ?
1. You cannot fire a gun in the town. You have to drive out of the town into the suburbs to do so
2. You cannot fire a gun in town. You have to drive out of town into the suburbs to do so
(I want to say that you cannot discharge a firearm within city limits)
I guess #2 is right.
