Toward one's goals

Hello there. I have a question.

Regarding the two sentences below:

(A) I would like youngsters to have their own goals and do their best to reach them.
(B) I would like youngsters to have their own goals and do their best toward them.

Are they both correct? Can we use (B) instead of (A)?
