'Touristic' seems to be used sparely and 'tourist', although a noun, seems to replace it. How would I restructure my sentence to make it sound more natural? 'Last year I went on a touristic travel to Paris.'
Any advice on using 'touristic' would be appreciated.
Thanks.

In addition to what Elanguest has said, it would be much more natural to say "went on a tourist trip". "travel" is usually used as an uncountable noun except in some situations where it describes long journeys (someone's travels )
