Remember to get a map at the tourist information office/tourist center.

Are "the tourist information office" and "the tourist center" referring to the same thing? Thanks.

They could be the same thing.

"Tourist information office" is just more specific. I can envision the "tourist information office" being a small section/division/department located inside a "tourist center."

Using one over the other won't drastically change the essence of your idea, though.
