While the world develope noticably, tourism has experienced a vital role of economics in many countries. Besides its pros, it’s obvious that there are a large number of harm to local culture so it leads to many unconsiderable consequences that is not under consideration of the government. However, in my opinion, this problems is not extremely serious like many people have said.
First, the disadvantages of tourism can not be deniable. When tourisim industry has flourished, its damages to some most-visited areas in some countries are significantly accessible. For example, some areas are attracted to lots of tourist from over the world. As a result, these areas become less natural than before or maybe the enviroment is deteriorated. That problems cause mainly by people’s awardness. Nowadays, civilian’s awareness is slightly poor, they liter all the places they go or they write their names into places where they have been to. What is more,
excessive building (roads, hotels etc.) destroys natural habitats and spoils the landscape. Tourism creates pollution and waste. It puts pressure on local resources such as food, water and energy.
On the opposite side, look at the benefits of tourism, it brings jobs to indigenous people. Before tourism develops, local people don’t have chances to earn for living but they have more opportunies on tourism like tour guide, etc. Government and companies invest much in tourism so it helps them make ends meet and keep up with the Johnese later. Futhermore, they might take an occasion to associate with modern technology and exchange cultures with worldwide tourists. It broden indigenous’s horizon and open their mind. Last but not least, people must learn English to communicate cause it is the international language. Through that, local people can learn many things while learing a new language and benefit in a long term.
In all, there are pros and cons om developing tourism. However, it is believed that people can limit the detrimental aspects by protecting enviroment together or have strict rules to people who do harm to the nature. After that, tourism must become the most economical and harmless industry in our modern life.
While countries around the world continue to develo p, noticably, tourism has experienced been playing a vital role of economics in in the economies of many of those countries. However, b esides its economic benefits, pros, it’s obvious that there are a large number of tourism can also cause harm to local cultures and environments . so it leads to many unconsiderable consequences that is not under consideration of the government.
