I'm bothered because the word 'poison' is rarely used when referring to such substances. The more normal terminology relates to toxic, toxicity and/or health hazards. This is because a poison is usually ingested and immediately causes death. These substances have a wider range and slower, cumulative effect on the human system though in massive quantities can be fatal
