Thanks Not different from any other verb+ed, verb+ing cases I totaled = past of I total ( I added up something ) I have totaled, I am totaling totaled can be adjective a totaled car totaling can be a noun The fresh totaling is finally done. Many more examples I can give but it is sufficient for you to know that total is a verb when it has added +ed (otherwise it can be a noun My total was fine or adjective on its own a total disaster ) Did this help?
