Topic:People think that the government should increase the cost of fuel for cars and other vehicles to solve enviromental issues. To what extent do you agree or disagree ( itels writing task 2)

There is a belief that traffic and pollution issues should be solved by higher prices of fuel. In my view, this solution completely a reasonable settlement and there are also several justifiable alternatives that the government should consider.
Firstly, environmental issues are now a hot and difficult problem to solve, almost vehicles using petrol nowadays which discharged an enormous amount of carbon dioxide into the environment. Why don’t we use public transportation instead of driving, it also saves big sums of money and not harm the environment. There is a solution that not using petrol, for example, we should use or buy electric cars, all-electric vehicles do not release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere when it is being used and it helps reduce car emissions to help the environment. The government should try to produce a new type of fuel which helps reduce the amount of CO2 or pollution-free, or the government should improve the quality of public transport to help people feel more secure. Furthermore, scientists should search for the sources of clean energy such as solar power and nuclear power to replace fossil fuel.
On the other hand, electric cars usually have a higher price than normal cars, and the number of people using petrol cars accounting for very huge numbers and not everyone can use public transport for their reason and their specialty. Some of the poor people, they do not have enough condition to pay for the high cost of petrol, they also need to pay for their bill such as a house, electronic, water, etc..
In conclusion, petrol brings many advantages to people but we do not care about the environment, people must use petrol as a reasonable amount that does not harm the environment and try to get new solutions to save the environment in the future.
