Topic: Some people think that the best way to improve road safety is to increase the minimum legal age for driving a car or motorbike. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is thought that the minimum age that are legal to driving vehicles should be raise up to incease road safety. While some people think that this is the best way to reduce traffic problems, I strongly believe that there are other measures that are also important to cope with this issue.

Increasing the mininmum legal age for using vehicles is a necessary action to increase traffic safety. Some young drivers cause traffic accident because of their lack of cautiousness and skills. Therefore, young people should be fully educated and trained before being allowed to use vehicles. Moreover, raising the minimum legitimate age can reduce the number of vehicle users. As a result, this can minimize the traffic congestion and accidents, as every people have enough space and better view to drive.

On the other hand, several other measures are also essential to reduce traffic problems. Not only youngsters need to be restricted their permission to drive a car or motorbike, but also other people, especially people with mental problems and drunk people. If they are allowed to drive, accidents are unevitable, which endanger not only them but also other drivers. Besides, improving the infrastructure plays a crucial role in ensuring road safety. For instance, in my hometown, after repairing the roads, repainting the traffic sigh and setting up traffic light system, the traffic accident rate has been significantly reduced.

In conclusion, while some people believe that increasing the permissible age for driving car or motorbike is the best way to reduce traffic issues, I am of the opinion that there are several actions needed to tackle this problems.
