In recent years, fast food is getting more and more prevalent due to its convenience. Countless people widely think that fast food is harmful to our health. Hence, governments must have short-term measures to forbid its manufacture. From my viewpoint, I totally agree with this opinion. There are two main reasons why fast food has bad effects on us.
Firstly, fast food has a lot of adverse impacts on children. When they are in the mature stage, the children should have a balanced diet to grow up. Bones and Teeth must be provided adequate nutrition. So, when they eat fast food, the children aren't provided enough nutrients, and the excess weight causes osteoporosis. Moreover, they can have many problems with the digestive system.
On the other hand, fast food is detrimental to our organs. It normally has a lot of fat and starch but it has less fiber. Thus, it is easy to susceptible to obesity. Moreover, excess abdominal fat is a risk factor for heart disease. According to statistics, the percentage of people who die from obesity is many times more than the death of malnutrition disease. In Vietnam, the overweight rate tends to increase warningly, especially in the city.
In conclusion, governments take into consideration forbidding the production of fast food as a result of its negative effects.
