A profession is the job for which you have prepared, that when you are entitled to remuneration. There are many professions, such as engeneering, nursing, and pedagogy. For all of them it is said that it is necessary to have a training before exercising it, but in a very few occasions it is spoken about the vocation is before carry out job.

Vocation is the interest or inclination that people have within them to dedicate themselves to a job or lifestyle in a certain way. For this reason, when we are in school or is a teenager, make us "vocational tests". to help us, as a young people, decide in which area we perform best according our own vocation.

Today we meet many professionals without vocation. That includes teacher of all subjects. I agree that those who study to be teacher should take into consideration that the vocation should prevail over the profession, however, we musht not fail to recognize the profession of teachers. I think you have to find a balance between both concepts. A teacher, like other professions, provides a service to society, teachers are facilitors of teaching and train future professionals, for this reason it is necessary to have a vocation of service and there will be times when in order to achieve for others to learn it will be necessary to "work for free". However, the remuneration of teachers must be respected and recognized. Being a teacher is the only profession that creates all others professions.
