TOPIC: Childhood obesity is becoming a serious problem in many countries. Explain the main causes and effects of this problem, and suggest some possible solutions.

Nowadays, many children have to face the dilemma about health called obesity which has been becoming an increasingly popular concern in different parts of the world. This essay will discuss several reasons which lead to a lot of effects and suggest some solutions to tackle this challenge.

The problem is caused by a vary of factors. To begin with, some juveniles lose the control of eating junk food such as hamburger, chips, McDonald or drink sugary and soft drinks which have a high-fat content. In addition, they spend a lot of times on playing computer games or chatting on the internet rather than participating other outside activities such as doing sport, camping, and so on. Last but not least, they are not doing exercise very often which mainly lead to be overweight.

Some main reasons bring various bad effects on young children. Firstly, babies are heavyweight and unfit after eating this food mentioned above. What’s more, fatness has a higher risk of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer because of fatty substance in their food. Lastly, children will be burden on hospital in the future as sitting a place for a long time to play games. At the present, some measures can be taken to stimulate more kids to change their habits of keeping fit. In fact, this problem belongs to adults, to be specific, parents, schools, and government. It is clearly that parents can have control of what they provide nutrients for their children as well as set a low-fat diet. Furthermore, schools can organise some useful activities such as camping, sport to restrict the amount of times children spend on play computer games as well as encouraging them doing exercise in daily routines. The last is government who are responsible for censoring products which are harmful for children in health and should ban some advertising unhealthy food.

In conclusion, there are three principal causes and direct negative effects for the obesity problem of kids as mentioned above and steps need to take to tackle it.
