Can I say,



  1. They took a lift to (the) Lee’s house at 8th floor.



  2. They took a lift to reach there.



  3. When they reached there, they took a lift to the 8th floor.



  4. She lives on (the) 8th floor in / of Damai Apartment.



  5. She lives in 5 th floor at Damai Apartment.



  6. They visited their friends who live at (the) 8th floor.



  7. They did not use the staircase and they took the lift.



  8. They took a lift to go up to 5 th floor.

  1. They took a lift to (the) Lee’s house aapartment/flat/home at 8th floor. If it is Lee [one person] no article is required; if it is a family called Lee, then "the Lees' apartment..."

I notice the word ‘lift’ used in the thread. ‘Lift’ is not a usual term for ‘elevator’ in our part of the world. Most of us would not understand the expression ‘take a lift’. Instead we would say ‘take the elevator.’
