Hi,
I think I need "too" because the verb it refers to is "I hope", which is not negated.

- I hope you didn't drill that into your head too deeply
- Me too/neither.

- I hope you didn't drill that into your head too deeply
- I hope so too.

- I hope you didn't drill that into your head too deeply
- I hope I actually didn't too.
