Too many "his or her" in a sentence

How can I avoid using the phrase "his or her" too much in a sentence? (I am writing an essay, and since I cannot use sexist language, I cannot use "his" or "her" alone.)

Example: Having a patient watch a video recording of his or her social performance can reduce his or her negatively biased perception of his or her own social skills.
