Too many answers

Hello. I am doing one test. There is one task. Please can you make me sure what option is right and mainly tell me WHY? So, here it is:
Choose the word which best completes each sentence.

In first question I choosed the B answer. SHAKEN
In second the A answer. LAWS
In third the C answer. COVERAGE

Please give me feedback, what do you think about it. It´s important for me, I haven´t got the answer key.

a/ trembled b/ shaken c/ upset d/ vibrated "Shaken" is the word. This is a vocabulary issue, not a grammar issue. All of the choices work grammatically - well, almost all. "Trembled"
