Are they correct? If so which is better?

Well, first one seems okay but repetitive. There is no parallelism in the second one. I would write: These words are too general and obscure and carry a wide range of meaning.

Well, first one seems okay but repetitive. There is no parallelism in the second one.

I would write:

These words are too general and obscure and carry a wide range of meaning. ( better of the worst)

I agree using too twice is repetitive and your sentence is certainly better than mine. However, I think using and twice is a bit repetitive, too. I wanted to emphasize both 'general' and 'obscure' using too but I didn't know whether and is needed there.

Aside from carrying a wide range of meaning, these words are too general and obscure as well. Or, if you don't want to use and use this:
