Tony Soprano jr. is my last close call...

Some thug stole Chloe's laptop. And Clark finds it and returns it.
Clark: I grabbed it before the police arrives. Hopefully Manheim wasn't able
to pull any files off it.
Chloe: Well, rest assured, Tony Soprano jr. is my last close call. That's her last
trouble she's causing?

I am done traveling with all of my techno treasures in one basket. At the same time?
Besides you almost got killed for my laptop.
Clark: Chloe, you made an honest mistake. A little mistake?

I'm fine.

Madhulk I am done traveling with all of my techno treasures in one basket. At the same time? At the same time and in the same place, and in an unwise way because all the things are vulnerable together.

  • The reference is to an old saw about "keeping all one's eggs in one basket", which is supposed to be a bad idea because if the basket gets dropped then all the eggs get broken (at least, that's how I've always understood it).

And what about my first blue?

I can't really parse the line, but Tony Soprano jr. is the son of the head gangster in the show The Sopranos.

I don't understand that one either. As Vorpar says, it's obviously some reference to The Sopranos, but beyond that I've no idea. A "close call" usually means a narrow escape from danger or from some disadvantageous outcome.

Well, rest assured, Tony Soprano jr. is my last close call.

Actually, I think it might be fairly straightforward after all. She's ironically referring to her assailant as "Tony Soprano Jr." in reference to the gangster show, and saying that this is the last "close call" like this that she'll be having (per the definition of "close call" in my previous post) -- presumably because

Come to think of it the thug's name was really A.J. but Chloe didn't know that.
Guess it's a blunder of some sort. Anyway, thank you Mr Wordy and Vorpar!

I don't think it's a blunder. It's a figure of speech whereby you sarcastically or jokingly refer to someone by the name of well-known person who shares certain characteristics that you want to highlight. For example, you might call someone who made a discovery "Sherlock" (after Sherlock Holmes, the fictional dete
