Hi Everyone,
Could anyone please take a look at the following paragraph where I have divided the sentences into tone unit groups. Please see if I did it correctly or not?
Many scientists think colours change how we feel. In a recent experiment, people looked at colours and matched them to feelings. The results were very interesting. For example, many people say black makes them feel sad, but white -- the “opposite” of black -- is not a happy colour.
Kind regards,
Nikhil
I am not an expert on this, but if you wish to "divide the sentences into tone unit groups" then should you not somehow show the boundaries between phrases? What you seem to have done is highlight the words that have emphasis.
