Tomorrow after school, I (go) to the beach.

1. Tomorrow after school, I (go) to the beach

As I know, "I (go) to the beach" is a planned action (today I decided) so I choose present continuous: I am going to the beach

However the answer in my online exercise didn't accept my choice. Can you please confirm if my answer is correct or not

2. We (hide) will be hiding when Tony (arrive) arrives at his surprise party. As soon as he opens the door, we (jump) out and (scream) scream, "Surprise!"

My answer: We will be hiding when Tony arrives at his surprise party. As soon as he opens the door, we will jump out and scream, "Surprise!"

My online test also didn't accept my answer for "will jump"

Can any natives help me with the accurate answer, please?

P/S: The online test doesn't have detailed answers, we have to choose the answers to submit and they will give marks

A thousand thanks to you.

I can't think why your answers were not accepted. " "am going" is fine. We will be hiding when Tony arrives at his surprise party.

  • " This is correct as well although I would put: "We shall be hiding when Tony arrives at his surprise party.
  • " " I do like to distinguish between "shall" and "will" but that could be just me being old fashioned.
