Toll, sound or ring

This is the sentence:

It's useless. No one will get the Liberty Bell to ***** again.

The Liberty Bell was a big bell made of bronze that symbolized the freedom of Mongolia in the Middle Ages.

What would you put instead of *****? I would say it's toll, but I am not sure if sound or ring would make sense too.

The usual verb with 'bell' is 'ring', so that's what I thought of first, but both of your other two choices will also work. CJ
