Hi,

Please which of these 2 sentences is correct

  • Did he ever told you?

  • Did he ever tell you?

The correct one is "Did he ever tell you?"

You can't put both the auxiliary verb (do > did) and the main verb (tell > told) in the past tense.

Only the auxiliary goes in the past. The main verb must remain in the base form.
