Tokyo Gore Police...

Excellent call, Duck. Amazing little film - great combination of live and digital F/X, beautifully (if luridly) shot, on HD, and genuinely over-the-top and bizarre. The opening chainsaw duel? Inspired insanity. Will add this one to my permanent collection.

If you haven't seen this yet, Jack (and anyone else), you should rent it immediately. If the title is in any way appealing, know that it's exactly what you'd expect, and a very good version of it. Sincerely weird low-budget filmmaking!

[nq:1]I like how they take the idea of weaponry and gore and just run with it towards absurdity and then ... cement and hands super glued to the tailpipe of the Space shuttle on the launching pad counting down to lift-off.[/nq]
It's an amazingly sick vision, and the whole body modification thing is quite striking, visually. The gal credited as the Aligator Girl takes the concept of ****** Dent

Uh...
I, of course, know perfectly well what week it is. However, most folks I know who have seen this are far less excited about it than you are.

I've not exactly been skimping on horror viewing this week, anyway. I also just checked out the first episode of "Forever Knight" on Hulu.
