Welcome to the forums.
If you're going to sit for the TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language), then learning how to spell it would be a great start.

A sort of "portfolio" with all the topics for the TOEFL (I assume you are asking about the writing part) does not exist.
In its modern version (the IBT) the exam consists of four parts: reading, writing, listening and speaking. All of them contain both tasks related to academic subjects and tasks related to ordinary life. For instance, you might have to read texts about biology or history, have to listen to an excerpt from a lecture on astronomy or philosophy, or to a discussion between two classmates about their workload, or you may have to write a 300-word composition on the basis of a piece of academic reading and a passage from a lecture on the same topic, or you might have to speak about agriculture in ancient Greek, summarizing a short piece of listening you were previously made to hear.

I'm afraid, you won't find anywhere something similar to what you're asking for.

i want describe a something.

in my country (Jordan) , there is several centers that learning English language and prepare the person to TOFEL ( i think i spil it correctly).

the procedures like the following:

first you register and take comprehensive exam to determine your level from (1-12).

second you start studing from your level that you get in exam.

every level has several subject to cover.

that my qustion: what every level contain?

for example level 5 contain (how to use tenses)

can you give me summary of what each level contain?

with respect.

Hi Alourd,

I am very sorry but I can't help you further. I took the TOEFL IBT without any prior kind of placement test, so I really don't know what those levels you mention are about.
There's nothing like that in my country: I only registered (online) for the exam, paid the fee and did the test. Nothing less, nothing more.

If I were you, I'd ask either one of the exam centres in Jordan or somebody who has already taken the placement test there.

You could ask your English centers for a web site with information, or make a visit in person to get information. Taking an assessment exam is a good start. Then you will know what you need to study in order to pass the test.

I would guess that level 1 is for people with no knowledge of English at all.
Levels 11-12 would be for people who know English grammar well, but need work on advanced vocabulary, conversation and composition.

Because of the errors you have made in your posting, I know you are neither at an advanced level (9-12), nor are you at a beginner's level, either (1 - 3). I would guess your level to be between 5 and 7. But this is just my guess.
I encourage you to take the exam, or to study more on your own. There are many books available on how to prepare for the TOEFL test, but they assume a good basic knowledge of English. You may need to study grammar (verbs and sentence structure) as well as spelling and vocabulary before tackling a TOEFL preparatory book.

I will try to learn more about TOFEL, I will improve my vocabulary and grammers.

but i have a prpblem with wrting; i can not write some words correctly , i also make mistakes in

writing although i pronounce it correctly.
