Quesion:

  1. What are independent eyes?

  2. Why would "My company will match my payment" be an option? If I pay 100 dollars already for Gold membership, why should I ask my company to pay another 100 dollars? What is that for? Please advise.

I see, but it only needs 100 dollars to become a Gold member. If my company matches my payment, I will have 200 dllars to send to the Viilage. I think this extra money is redundant. Would that be for a membership upgrade or something? I am still confused and please advise. Thanks.

It is common in the U.S. for companies to match charitable contributions made by their employees. This option lets the charity get twice the amount of money, while the company gets to take a charitable deduction, and the employee is happy that the company has made a donation to an organization the employee cares about.
