No, "expected" is not a good choice.
Accurate means that the outcome of the test is true or close to the truth.
Expected means that the event (in this case, the lab test results) were known or predicted in advance.

If lab tests are not accurate, you can not trust them. For example, the test says "No, you do not have disease X" when you really do, so you forgoe treatmeant.

If the tests are not expected, then you may be disappointed, but provided they are accurate, you are not in any more danger then you were before. So for example, you are bitten by a bat. You think there may be rabies. The bat is killed and tested for rabies. An expert tells you that there have been no cases of rabies in the area for fifty years, so you do not expect to get a positive result (that is, a result that says the bat has the disease.)

If the test is accurate, and the animal has the disease, the result will be positive. It will not be what you expected (and hoped for) but you will not be in great danger, because you will believe the test, and take the treatment, and live.

There is one way that having a test result that is not what you expected could be dangerous, and that is if the test is bad news, and it makes you so unhappy that you injure yourself. But that is an unusual sense.

This is because the phrase "If the lab test results are not expected," talks about the timing of the results and not the type of outcome.
