Topic:Compare and contrast the advantages of city living and country living. Defend your preference.
Among the most basic concerns of human, accommodation is one thing that needs serious consideration. One may choose to settle down in the city or to live in the countryside. Each of these locations has its advantages, which makes the question “which one is better” become hard to answer.
First of all, life in the countryside is worth thinking about for several reasons. Obviously, it is less noisy there in comparison to the city, so you can always fully enjoy you’re the remainder of your day after work without the irritation of noise. Also, you will not have to worry about getting stuck in a traffic jam because there is less traffic. Furthermore, you will have a chance to indulge yourself in nature with beautiful scenery and fresh air, have your soul purified and the days of your life pass in the most peaceful way. Security is insured as there are very few crimes reported to happen in such peaceful place. More importantly, the living expense in the countryside is much lower, so you do not have to work very hard to make ends meet.
However, living in the city is beneficial in its own way. Initially, the city offers a great number of jobs at various major with higher salary. You can always get one as long as you are hard working and ambitious. Besides, life here in the city is fast, which is suitable for the active young person. Moreover, one unique attraction of life in the city is the entertainment system such as the coffee shops, movie theatres, clubs and bars. Fun is endless in the city. As for students, you will be provided with better conditions for education. For example, most of famous universities and colleges are located in the cities. Lastly, the medical system is more innovative if you choose to live in the city with modern facilities and the most experienced doctors.
Granted that life in the countryside has many benefits, I would much prefer living in the city. This is because I am young and it will be easier for me to start my career in a place where chances are always available like in the city. Thus, I believe that living in the city will guarantee me stability and happiness.
