Please help me in reforming ideas with my essay.
Essay Topic: Some people like to communicate by e-mail and voice mail. Other people like to communicate by telephone or face-to-face. Which type of communication do you prefer and why?
Essaay:
Some people believe that communicating by telephone or face to face is better while some argue that it is easier to communicate over e-mail or voice mail.However, As far as I am concerned I feel that communicating by phone or face to face is always a better option for 2 reasons.
First, I believe that communicating in person or by phone is faster than sending mail and then waiting for its response. For instance, during my front desk job, I have to fill forms and sometimes I just need basic information from employees like their date of birth. And If I send a mail to them, then I will have to wait for their response which may take from few minutes to few hours to a day or two. At times, it also happened that the receiver was on leave, and it took him forever to reply to that basic question. So, instead of sending a mail if I would have called the person, I would have got an instant answer to my question. Therefore, communicating by phone is always faster as compared to sending an email.
In addition to that, communicating over the phone is more beneficial as it quickly solves your problem. For example, one time I was working late till midnight and I found a bug in the code, which my colleague had designed. The product had to be delivered to a customer the next morning.I called my colleague and informed him about the bug and then we worked whole night to fix that issue and before morning it was solved. So, If I had sent him a mail, he would have seen that next morning and will not be able to fix the issue on time. Therefore, communicating by phone is always helpful.
So to put in a nutshell, I assert that communicating over telephone or face to face is a better option. It is faster means of communication and it is more helpful and beneficial.
