Today more and more people are using mobile phones and computers. Thus, people are losing the ability to communicate face to face. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that technological devices such as mobile phones, computers are used more and more popularly. While I accept that such devices play a vital role in many aspects of life, I also believe that the capability of face-to-face communication can diminish through using them in an improper way.

On the one hand, it is apparent that state-of-the-art appliances make a great contribution to develop almost every fields of life. Firstly, internet interaction can provide support to users for diversifying methods of working or boosting job performance. For example, in addition to tradition teaching way, teachers can instruct their students through online lectures, livestream via some appliances such as skype, facbook. Secondly, cell phones and computers like a bridge can connect people from other countries without travelling across the world. In recent years, the breakout of appliances of social network makes establishment of great or small relationship easier and more convenient.

On the other hand, there are several reasons why mobile phones and computers are one of factors for the reduction of face-to-face communication. The first reason is that utilities and features of such devices draw much the users’ attention, so they will spend less time on talking directly with their friends or relatives. Many adolescents, for instance, sit by each other but they only concentrate on surfing webs, typing facebook comments, or chatting with others via zalo, skype, and so on. Another reason, the the users of such devices are into the virtual world on the internet and distract the real world from time to time. As a result, they can chat or share much stories via social network but inadequate confidence can show in their real conversation.

In conclusion, life can be developed more thanks to high-tech appliances but I always think that technology still contributes to a decrease of the ability of communication among people.
