To work and live somewhere

Hello,

Does this sentence: "My cousin's worked and lived in Germany for 14 years" sound a little odd? I think that "live and work" is more common than "work and live" but does that make any difference?

Thank you Emotion: smile

l ived and worked sounds better to me, too. But there's no grammar difference.
