Dear all,

I would like to know which of the following sentences are correct.

You are my kid brother to whom my mother didn't give birth.

You are my kid brother that my mother didn't give birth.

There is a relatively new expression you hear, "my brother from another mother", meaning that he is such a close friend that it is as if he was your brother. It is not used literally to mean half-brother, and it is not in general use. If you wanted to be literal, maybe "You are my younger half-brother."
