Hi, Does closed- door refer also to "confernce calls" in this sentence?

"she and her inner circle engaged in a series of closed-door meetings and conference calls to explore the possibility in detail."

But, I can also understand your confusion. If you really want precision, you could write:
"...she and her inner circle engaged in a series of closed-door meetings and private conference calls to explore the possibility in detail."
In this sentnce, there is no room for doubt that both the meeting

Hmmm.

A meeting can be either private or not private.

But a conference call sounds like it is by definition limited to the people using the phones.
It's hard for me to imagine a public confer
