Vocabulary

To WEAR IN

There was this outfit tag that read: "Special Cords - Washed corduroy. We've worn these cords in for you: heavily washed fabric-dyed cotton corduroy, etc."

Is it a phrasal verb? I couldn't find it in the dictionary.

Thanks.

When you buy new clothes, they can be stiff (especially shoes). When you wear them in, they stretch and become looser and better fitting. Phrasal verb, yes.
